Baan Maka

Baan Maka is a nature Lodge owned and operated by a Thai lady, Punjapa Phetsri, better known as Games and her ex-Brit husband Ian Dugdale. Games is a bird guide and has been birding professionally for the last 8 or 9 years and is looking to relax a little more. Ian is quietly nature obsessed, being fascinated with every vertebrate in Thailand.

Within the grounds are a large shaded lawn, ponds, a lakeside, a seasonal stream and a forest with a 1 km nature trail through it. These provide a variety of habitats for the local wildlife. All in all it is a wonderful place to stay.
