I spent an hour before breakfast messing around in the alley trying to get some more bird shots.
Breakfast with Tom was two Americans; fried eggs, sweet white toast, coleslaw, fruit and coffee for me and tea for Tom.
Went for a stroll along the river to a park where Tom played soccer with a local lad and i continued with my quiet obsession...

Tom wanted to visit a big mall, so we did; MBK. Seven stories of advanced shopping goodness. I didn't buy anything. Tom bought headphones. Got a good lunch in the 'Big Food Court', though for just over $2-50.

Caught up with Susie and Amy [after catching up with them the night before for dinner in Chinatown] for a little light lunch; spicy Papaya salad Som Thum[?]. Then we went for a stroll to the
Palace. Managed to get there 20 minutes before closing and wrote it off. Went for a little spin along the river in a long boat instead and that killed an hour of time.....

Having an early nite tonight. Tom is going back to Khao San road to catch up with the 'lations again.
Tomorrow we go to Khao Yai!! Yay!
